My Crafty Side

Backpack support

Posted on: September 8, 2008

I guess that’s what you would call them anyway.  They look like those things you put on seat belts to protect your neck.  On to the story.  My oldest daughter Allyson has been complaining about her backpack straps cutting into her neck.  So I came up with these.

All you need is:

A Fat Quarter Square
Thread
Velcro
Batting

If you want to make these, I can get you an exact size.  Just let me know.

This is showing both pieces of velcro.  Yes black is all I had on hand.

And of course I made a set for my youngest daughter Emily.

Photobucket Hi I'm Tracie. I am a sahm to three kiddos and a proud Army wife. Mac n cheese is my all time favorite food. I could seriously eat it for every meal. I love to sew and paint. What can I say? It relaxes me.
